You're finally fed up with your fleet and their incompetence. Take down all 13 of them one by one and claim your spot at the top. Along the way, you'll discover precious cargo dice that represent your ship's vitality and firepower. You may also encounter friendly merchants, carpenters, and potential crew members eager to join and assist you on your journey.

The game is played entirely with a mouse (or touch). You can mute the game by pressing M.

Your ship's cargo consists of dice, and their total pip values represent your ship's total HP. These dice also influence the number of damage dice you roll in combat. Be careful not to let your cargo's total value reach the dreaded number, as even rolling that in combat can have unfavorable consequences.

The game was originally created for js13k 2024 game jam where the goal is to always create a game in JavaScript and make it fit completely in 13 kilobytes or less. The theme this year was triskaidekaphobia which is the fear of number 13. The jam lasted for a month and I hit the size limit after the first week so I pretty much spent the remaining three weeks creating this "enhanced edition" adding more polish and content without the need to watch out for the scope anymore.

if you restart a game during a battle and you use autoplay, the screen shakes like if you still in battle

this is a great game. Really fun. 

I just somehow got two people adding splash damage, and a bard and 7 parrots. Most enemies died before I could do anything. Each parrot’s attack had 10 splash damage.

Why does the cargo go past the ship on the left???

Bombardier splash damage from divine beings can kill you if you have too less cargo to finish the string so it just traps you in, you can't hit them, but it doesn't end the minigame

I think Mimic actually quadruples the effect of a trinket. I had 1 legacy, starting harpoon, and got slight and glow from the trinket collector. I got Frarp from an earlier amphibian game ship and have a totally normal crew at ship "9"

Also, if "Grow" would +1 a cargo piece that's value 1, Carp's repair ability would still trigger. Is this even intentional???

There is a bug with anything with the "Boy" ability. I had Oni that let me loot 7 extra cargo pieces, but after grabbing the first two it said "Don't be greedy, that was all." I still was able to get the third piece though, please fix.

hehe, one time I left the page open and the music playing in the background and I switched tabs right after getting hit, and when i came back the music was all sped up lol

I got softlocked by uncollector.

Few people have posted this same issue now but sadly I haven't been able to reproduce it myself to fix it. If it happens again, (and you're not playing on mobile) could you please grab a pic of the browser console (F12 opens it in most browsers) so I could track what is causing the error there.

btw enemy spy can rig pearls (sorry I don't have a picture). Is that supposed to be in the game?

It seems like you got a green pearl while you had the switch cargo tab open. This is a bug, but it doesn't affect gameplay.

I found a bug. I got pretty far during eternity. I have over 36 pages of cargo. When i rolled to fire on infinite fleet 30, the game just stood still. Not quite frozen, but no option to shoot or do anything. 

Also, besides that, can you add some kind of rebirth modifier? After getting an absurd amount of boons, op crew, and too much cargo(the game shrieked a lot), it's not possible to lose. This makes something like legacy useless.

Restart is in the esc menu, it will also trigger legacy.

Hmm, weird, do the enemy crew member hats still not work correctly?

When a pirate ship has a Navigator and you decline, the crow's nest appears but the Navigator doesn't go in there. (sorry for no picture, I'll add it if I see it.)

can anyone send me a picture of your character as the frog, with the mark, the cross, pentagram and the king hat?

I think there are multiple (4+) different outcomes of those combinations depending on the order you get them.

I found a bug. If you dequip starting Pentagram and change to a different boon, your character is still red

Also, what does leech even do?

It does what it says on the tin. You can use a pearl and it isn't consumed but will damage one neighbouring plated cargo dice instead.

“Controversial” ranking reasons:

  • Navi being so high up in late game is due to you probably having “Eye” trinket by that point. You really want to avoid annoying clam bosses, meet uncollectors, and hopefully get a green pearl, so Navi is actually underated late game.
  • Bosun being in C-Tier in late game although your cargo gets one-shotted anyways is due to Dandy’s bribes. Especially if your Dandy isn’t overbuffed(Like 50% bribe), having higher valued spice matters.
  • Boomer dropping to B-Tier in late game is due to bribing builds and parrot swarm builds.
  • Mate being in C-Tier instead of D in late-game is due to green pearl. If you didn’t know, Mate’s ability doesn’t work in endless mode.
  • Scout is very useful late game due to divine being fights and especially Dark Navis.

is it normal i got to shoot the iceberg trice ? 

the percentage appeared at the last shot (100%) and then i rammed it and got the exact same crew twice but the icebreg still fell and showed the failure message

You can shoot the iceberg as many times as you need as long as you don't get over 100%. But the rest doesn't sound normal
